Your Guide to Navigating the 2026 NAHB International Builders Show
The NAHB International Builders Show (IBS) can feel like a lot.
Between the booths, the meetings, the after-hours stuff, and the “wait… didn’t I just see you on Instagram?” moments, it’s easy to get overwhelmed. So I’ve put together a quick guide for Curious Builders heading to IBS 2026, especially if you’re trying to be intentional with your time.
If you’re trying to figure out who’s worth stopping by, where to find people, and how to actually enjoy the show, this one’s for you.
First Things First: Where to Find Our Sponsors
We’ve got a deep bench of sponsors this year, and they’re all worth visiting! But if you only have time for a few booths these are the ones I personally make time for every year, and why.
Builder-Focused Must Stops
Buildertrend
I always want to see what they’re building next and how they’re thinking about the future of project management. This is an incredible smart electrical panel that gives real insight into how your home uses power and where you can save.

Emser Tile
Find Mike Weaver. He’s one of the best connectors in the industry and always worth the conversation.Booth Number: S17059

We used ZIP on Mysa Hus, and I like seeing what updates or refinements they’re rolling out.Booth Number: W3967

I’m obsessed. Their synthetic slate products are next-level.Adaptive
They always mix fun with smart tech. Last year was a receipt tornado and I can’t wait to see what they’ll do this time.Rockwool

Sub-Zero
Miele
Fisher & Paykel
Because of Mysa Hus’s Swedish roots, I’m always drawn to Nordic and Japanese brands. There’s a level of intentionality and restraint in their design that I think our industry can learn a lot from.
Where You’ll Find Me
If you’re trying to connect in person, here are your best bets.
Monday Night Meetup (Don’t Miss This)
This is the big one.
Hosted through the Contractor Coalition, it’s open to alumni, podcast listeners, and anyone who wants to hang out with people like Tyler, Nick, Brad, Morgan, and a whole lot of builders you probably already follow online.
Tickets are limited, so grab those early!
Podcast Recording + General Chaos
I’ll be bouncing around partner booths, Curious Builder Collective meetups, and of course random hallway conversations.
The show is full of impromptu dinners and spontaneous hangouts, so the best way to keep tabs is to get in the group text thread or DM me on Instagram!
Advice for IBS Attendees
If It’s Your First Time
Don’t overplan.
Wander. Absorb. Let yourself be overwhelmed (in a good way). There’s value in just seeing what’s possible.
If It’s Your Second or Third Time
Now it’s time to get strategic:
Make a brand action plan
Reach out early and schedule meetings
Leave space for the unplanned stuff
Ask people:
“What’s the coolest thing you’ve seen so far?”
That question alone will lead you to places you wouldn’t have found otherwise.
Why IBS Is Still Worth It
We interact with people online all year long. The International Builder’s Show is where those relationships turn real.
You get hands-on with tools, materials, and ideas you’ve only seen on a screen. You get to ask better questions. You get inspired by how other builders are thinking.
That’s why we keep showing up.
If you’re going to IBS 2026, come say hi.
And if you’re on the fence, this is your sign.
